One person was critically wounded in a shooting that occurred outside of a bar in Chula Vista early Saturday. The shooting happened around 1:00 a.m. at Wild Wooly’s Saloon. A gun shootout over the weekend at a Fisherman’s Wharf nightclub left one person dead and four wounded. The club, called Suede Nightclub and Lounge, was already facing a seven-day suspension of its license for out-of control crowds. The San Francisco Chronicle reported in a story found here that forty-four shots were fired in the club and two gunmen were involved.
The Chronicle further reported that neighbors have complained about the club since 2007, mostly due to the crowds that leave the club. A brawl was reported outside of the club at on January 10.
